On February 1, 2019 I started Nicole’s course, and this is what I wrote first:
"If I were pain free, I would wake up feeling refreshed after a good night sleep. I would not have to move so slow nor worry about falling over going from bed to bathroom. I could play with my son, be a better mom, and wife. I would exercise more, ride horses more and maybe try something new.
Goals: Better at age 40 than I was at 39, less pain, more happy, better home life.
Dreams: Travel, horses, adventures with my husband/son, concerts, shopping, meeting new people and making more money for more fun/adventure.”
11 months later, every bit of the above has come true.
I am better at age 40. 30 years of pain from spinal stenosis, cervical disc herniation, joint and fibro pain, pelvic pain and many other things my brain tried to use to keep me safe… ARE GONE. I am off all 5 medications my doctor told me I needed.
I went back to public safety dispatching as a second job. I turned 40 in Las Vegas in December. I went to a concert, we traveled as a family, embarked on some adventures and had a great time. I rode horses like never before (to include getting bucked off in July and fracturing my tail bone). Luckily I already knew about acute vs. chronic pain, so I made DAMN sure to do the work. To this day, I forget about it unless someone asks me about it. It’s like it never happened.

About Nicole
